Recombinant Human BAFF/BLyS/TNFSF13B Ala134-Leu285
Synonimy: BLyS, TALL-1, THANK, CD257, TNFSF20, ZTNF4
B-cell activating factor (BAFF), also known as BLyS or TNFSF13B, is a 32 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand superfamily. It plays a critical role in B cell development, survival, and function. BAFF is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, dendritic cells, and T cells. It binds to receptors BCMA, TACI, and BAFF-R on B cells, activating NF-κB signaling. BAFF promotes B cell proliferation, differentiation, and immunoglobulin production. Elevated BAFF levels are associated with autoimmune disorders and B cell malignancies. This recombinant protein can be used to study BAFF biology and as a reagent in B cell-related research.
