Anti-ASH2L Antibody
Synonimy: Set1/Ash2 histone methyltransferase complex subunit ASH2, ASH2-like protein
This antibody targets ASH2 Like (ASH2L), a core regulatory subunit of mammalian histone H3 lysine 4 (H3K4) methyltransferase complexes, including SET1/MLL complexes. ASH2L is essential for the structural integrity and catalytic activity of these complexes, which deposit mono-, di-, and tri-methylation marks on H3K4. H3K4 methylation, particularly trimethylation (H3K4me3), is strongly associated with actively transcribed gene promoters.
Validated for immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry applications, this antibody enables the study of epigenetic mechanisms, histone methylation patterns, transcriptional regulation, and the role of H3K4 methyltransferase complexes in development, differentiation, and disease.
