Anti-ACTA2 Antibody

This antibody specifically targets ACTA2 (actin, aortic smooth muscle), a highly conserved cytoskeletal protein involved in various types of cell motility. ACTA2 is a major constituent of the contractile apparatus in smooth muscle tissues and plays crucial roles in maintaining cell structure and mediating contractile functions. The protein participates in vascular smooth muscle contraction and is associated with several pathological conditions including familial thoracic aortic aneurysms, moyamoya disease, and smooth muscle dysfunction syndrome.
