Acyl-CoA Thioestherase Activity Assay Kit

The Acyl-CoA thioesterase activity assay is designed to measure the catalytic activity of ACOT enzymes by quantifying the hydrolysis of acyl-CoA substrates. Colorimetric detection at 412 nm is utilized to measure the enzyme's activity in various biological samples. One unit of acyl-CoA thioesterase activity is the amount of enzyme that catalyzes the release of 1.0 µmol of fatty acid from acyl-CoA per minute at 37°C and pH 7.4.
