Anti-GRP78 Antibody

This antibody specifically targets Endoplasmic Reticulum Chaperone BiP (GRP78/HSPA5), a key molecular chaperone that plays an essential role in protein folding and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. GRP78 functions as a critical regulator of the unfolded protein response (UPR) by binding to and inactivating stress sensors EIF2AK3/PERK and ERN1/IRE1 under normal conditions, while releasing them during ER stress to activate protective cellular responses.
