Anti-Doublecortin Antibody

This antibody specifically targets Doublecortin (DCX), a microtubule-associated protein essential for neuronal migration during brain development. DCX functions in the initial steps of neuronal dispersion and cortex lamination by regulating microtubule organization and stability. It is highly expressed in immature neurons of the developing brain, particularly in the cortical plate, intermediate zone, and ventricular zone, making it a valuable marker for neurogenesis.

Optimized for immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry applications, this antibody can be used to study neuronal migration, brain development, and adult neurogenesis.
