Anti-Caspase-8 Antibody

This antibody targets Caspase-8, a critical initiator cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) in the extrinsic pathway of apoptosis. Upon activation by death receptor signaling complexes (e.g., DISC formed by Fas or TNFR1), Caspase-8 auto-processes and subsequently activates downstream effector caspases (like Caspase-3), leading to the execution phase of programmed cell death.
Validated for use in immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry, this antibody allows researchers to study the extrinsic apoptosis pathway, death receptor signaling, and cellular mechanisms controlling programmed cell death in development, immunity, and disease.
