Anti-Caspase-7 Antibody

This antibody targets Caspase 7, a key member of the caspase family of cysteine proteases that execute the apoptotic program. As an effector caspase, it exists as an inactive zymogen until it is activated by cleavage from initiator caspases (like Caspase-9 or -8). Activated Caspase 7, along with Caspase-3, cleaves a broad range of cellular substrates, leading to the characteristic biochemical and morphological changes of apoptosis, including DNA fragmentation and cell disassembly.
