Anti-APP Antibody

This antibody targets the Amyloid Precursor Protein (APP), a transmembrane protein expressed in many tissues, particularly abundant in neuronal synapses. While its precise physiological function is still under investigation, APP processing is central to Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis, as sequential cleavage by β- and γ-secretases generates amyloid-β (Aβ) peptides that form amyloid plaques.  

Validated for immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry applications, this antibody enables the study of APP trafficking, processing, and its potential roles in neuronal function, as well as research into the mechanisms underlying Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.
